How Did I Get Here?

It's easy to react to what others are saying. Someone writes about how vacuous Paris Hilton is and many readers will add their two cents. Throw down a question about favorite books or movies or top ten despicable human beings and then you'd better get the hell out of the way while everyone comes forth with their best or worst nominations.

So...reacting to what my fellow bloggers put out there for our consumption is simple. Coming up with a satisfactory beginning for an unknown blog is...well....not so much. Shoeless Joe claimed that "if you build it-they will come". I guess we'll see how true that really is.

Question of the day: Which do you regret more? The things you've done in life or the things you haven't?

I only regret the things I have done in life, because I made some mistakes here and there. I have time to do the things I haven't done yet.

The problem for me is that the things I haven't done are also things that are mostly too late to do. At least for me...

Thus, the greater regret over things undone.

I can't change the things I have done in the past. I think they make me who I am. I definitely regret not having done a few things. But I still have time. I think.

Hmmmm, neither. I've learned from mistakes, and I'm young enough to still do what I want to do. I have no reason for missing out on anything. If I want it, I'll make it happen.

Glad you finally started a blog!

I don't live in the past. I learn from it and try to use it to make today better. But, if this was a death bed question, I would definitely say I would have more regrets about what I did not do. Good or bad at least I attempted the things I did do. I can live with the results. Now if I didn't do something because I was afraid to try or that I would fail, that would be sad. What good is a life if you are afraid to live it?

I don't regreat anything.

But then, I am kind of limited in that capacity.

I don't even "regreat" typos.

I do not regret that which I have done, for it has helped make me who I chose to be, as for regretting what hasn't been done? I'm not dead yet! :)

The things I haven't. I can't do everything, or make up for things I've missed, but I try to push to get us to do things I think would be interesting.

And as for the past, I regret mistakes, but do not try to hung up on guilt. Some mistakes you can undo; some you make sure you won't make again.

Of course there will always be more mistakes, but that's life.

The only thing I have to regret is that I have to apologize for effimg George Bush whenever I'm in another country.

Otherwise, the past? Done. No turning back. Thank God.

I regret that I probably won't ever be an astronaut. I'll just drink my Tang and dream on.

Welcome to blogging and let er rip!

By the way, I meant to write 'effing', not 'effimg', though 'effimg' sounds just as damning.

i most regret things other people have done, or more specifically things i've let other people do to me that knocked my life, however temporarily, off track...so i guess that's really things i've done. but it feels better to blame others. :)
